Simon Mabb is the Group Managing Director of The Romero Group and Head of UK Regions at AssuredPartners International. With over 30 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry, Simon has built a strong track record of leadership, strategic growth, and delivering client-focused solutions. Working alongside Founder and Group CEO Justin Romero-Trigo, he has played a pivotal role in transforming The Romero Group into one of the UK’s fastest-growing, multi-award-winning independent insurance brokers. Under Simon’s leadership, the Group has expanded its national footprint, enhanced its service offering, and developed a high-performance culture grounded in integrity and innovation. His extensive industry knowledge and people-centric approach have made him a trusted leader within the UK insurance sector. Following the acquisition of The Romero Group by AssuredPartners, Simon took on the additional role of overseeing AssuredPartners' UK Regions. Today, this division includes nearly 600 staff across 26 offices, generating revenues in excess of £70 million. In this capacity, Simon applies his growth-focused mindset to a broader platform—leading integration efforts, fostering collaboration, and driving continued expansion and service excellence across all regional operations in the UK.
