Ewan began his career in the family business, MacDonald Group in 1992, initially advising personal lines clients, before progressing to all lines of commercial business and ultimately leading MacDonald Group to build a strong reputation for service and delivery across Scotland. The firm joined Partners& in 2022. Ewan became CEO (North) in 2024, leading Scotland and the North, and was appointed CEO Trading UK-wide in 2025. Alongside his professional achievements, Ewan is a decorated men’s curling champion, representing his country over 250 times in the World Junior and Men’s Curling Championships, European Championships, European Mixed Championships, and the Olympic Games.
