As CEO of Movo Partnership since 2018, Lea Cheesbrough has been recognised as one of Insurance Business UK’s Elite Women and has grown Movo from a start-up to the fastest-growing and now the largest AR network for insurance brokers in the UK. Her vision and commitment have earned Movo multiple awards, including Network of the Year at the Broker Innovation Awards in 2022 and 2023, and Growth Company of the Year at the National Insurance Awards. Lea was also named Broker Personality of the Year at the UK Broker Awards 2023. With over 20 years in insurance, she has held senior roles with leading insurers and brokers. Looking ahead, Lea is focused on future-proofing Movo’s services by strengthening the core Partnership offering and expanding support through initiatives like the Movo Accelerator for start-ups and Movo Fusion for directly authorised brokers.
