Phil Williams is Group Chief Commercial Officer at The Clear Group, following roles as Retail CEO and Group COO. With over two decades of insurance leadership, Phil spent the eight years prior as part of the management team at the commercial lines insurtech, Simply Business. He began his career in personal lines, with notable senior positions at BGL and Capita. Phil is ACII qualified, holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Bath and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. Phil currently serves as Deputy Chair of BIBA’s Larger Broker Advisory Board. He lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and two sons.
